Can I Get Fit and Tone Up Online on Zoom?

The answer to that, is, of course, yes! However… you need to be doing the right types of exercise, not just aerobic training. To get fit and tone up you need to do cardio training and Strength Training (aka Resistance Training).

Why can't I just use YouTube?

Most are just Aerobic Exercise - You don't get results!

A lot of the videos on Youtube and online fitness offerings are either one or the other.  Cardio training is usually aerobic and doesn’t offer strength training.  Strength training is usually just strength training, often, using weights, and commonly just one body area, e.g. abs or legs. 

Its too complicated - which means you give up!

To get fit you would need to do 3 cardio videos per week. To tone up you would need to do 4 or 5 strength training videos, one for each part of the body. That’s 8 videos, approx 20 min each – that’s 2 hrs, 40 mins in total. Having so many videos to keep doing each week would make it hard to keep it up long-term, even supposing you have the self-motivation to do videos at home by yourself in the first place!

Why Our Zoom Workouts Work

Our Zoom workouts are both cardio and strength training – in the same 30-min session! - you get results!

Cardio training interspersed with strength training, using body weight exercises or dumbbell weight exercises, cycling round all the body areas in every session, with at least 90 secs recovery for each muscle.  

Its an efficient and safe way to work out

The advantages of doing it this way are: only 3, 30-min sessions needed per week; each muscle gets recovery time allowing more muscle tissue to be produced; each muscle gets worked about 9 times per week, as opposed to once; never working an exhausted muscle, so less lactic acid, therefore less muscle ache, or none at all!


It's better than working alone because the workouts are live and with a real coach - meaning its more likely you succeed!

Exercising at home is hard, even for the most self-motivated. Exercising on zoom, with other people and a trained coach, is so much more enjoyable and motivating.  You see the coach, you see the other people, you can talk to the coach and the others as you exercise. The coach can show you modifications, if you need any, and can also make sure that you’re performing the exercise correctly.

Accountability works!

Zoom workouts offer you the accountability of a specific time and someone who expects you and knows when you show up.

Its Interesting and I feel part of a community

There’s always a variety of exercises on offer and you can go at your own pace without holding anybody up.  There’s no travelling time so you can stay fit with less time.  You save on petrol and parking and remain in the comfort of your own home (especially in the winter).  If you have vulnerable people at home, or you’re vulnerable yourself, you can stay safe from Coronavirus.

It feels like working out with others - see and hear other participants and you can workout as part of a group without being seen (if you prefer) – not possible at the gym.

We always leave the zoom link on afterwards so everyone can chat online after the workout.

If you can’t make the specific times for live zoom, we can record the sessions and you can catch up in your own time if you don’t make the session, but it would still feel like you’re exercising as part of a class. You can workout after hours when gym is normally closed, e.g. evening and weekends.

And… you can workout from abroad (even on holiday) and meet with others while you do it!

Our workouts are 30 Minutes only which is do-able for most people. We do leave zoom on for for 20 minutes or so you can socialise!

3 Times a Week Monday, Wednesday and Friday 9:30 AM and 1:00 PM

We recommend for optimum results that you get into the habit of working out 3 times a week. If you are international remember this is UK time

Workout Combines Strength Training with Cardio

Many online workouts online only use aerobic exercise. This helps your cardio-vascular system but when you combine like we do: strength training and cardio as we do in the physical gym

Faq

I live in the United States. Can I join online?

Absolutely. We actually have members who live in the US. Obviously you have to take the time difference into account (EST is 5 hrs behind). Why not arrange a Zoom consultation with us and find out more?

Because its online you can easily think of ways to get your children to even participate along with you and make it fun. Maybe even your partner could join in?

Most people can find 30 minutes in their day. Working out at home cuts out travelling time to the physical gym so it’s even easier. The program is very flexible and if you miss a session you can catch up at any time.
