Jenny – it’s been a pleasure!

“It’s been a pleasure”. Not often you hear that, huh?! Jenny started at a size 12 and very quickly got down to her target size 10! Lost 8 or 9 lbs and lots of inches. She looks absolutely amazing and you can tell that she’s really toned up! Asked if it was difficult to do at Ladies First Fitness, Jenny’s response was: “not at all difficult – it’s been a pleasure actually, I’ve really enjoyed it. It’s friendly, everybody is welcoming, there’s so much help, so much support, it’s just a very welcoming environment. Everyone supports each other.” It’s nice when people notice you’ve come to the gym. Well done Jenny!

Julie – Rejoined and loves it now!

Julie rejoined LFF after being a member about 12 years ago and loves it now! She was pleasantly shocked with the results on her 1st month review- 3.25 ins and 1.9% body fat. That’s a really good body fat drop, which is the main thing Julie wanted to work on along with toning. Since being a member previously, Julie thought the coaching had definitely improved. “It’s a lot more relaxed and you feel comfortable asking questions; it’s a friendly, non-intimidating environment. I work hard- the coaches would notice if I didn’t! I enjoy it-it’s much more fun and the ladies are all just so friendly.“ So, if you were a member before, come on back- we’ve improved a lot of things.

Kim – “Massive Difference to everything, all over – in 5 weeks!”

It’s made a massive difference all over. Kim is smiling after her 1st review – she lost 6.25 ins – and was thrilled about losing an inch off her hips. So, her clothes will fit better now and even better in a few more months! When asked how she was enjoying the workout, she said, “I’m really enjoying it – I did come years ago when you first opened, but I came with the girls from work and I don’t think we really took it seriously – the coaches are much more on the ball now.  It’s really friendly here, it’s so relaxed, and, when you’re doing the workout, you can really feel it.” When asked how easy it was to fit the workout into her day, Kim’s response was, “I like coming first thing, cos I like to do it in the morning, then it’s done and I have the rest of the day as I’m retired now.” It’s also easy to fit in after work.  Kim added enthusiastically, “And, can I just say, that I feel so much better now – before coming here I had so many aches and pains and I broke my shoulder in Feb but I can see such a massive difference! I’m not stiff anymore when I get up in the morning – I used to feel that I had no joints in my legs.  But now, it’s made a difference to everything, all over– after just 5 weeks!”

From doing this workout Trudy has noticed, in her words, “more confidence, inch loss (dropped 2 dress sizes! – despite the cruises!), more toned and sleep better”. “LFF is very friendly with helpful coaches, it’s ladies only and the exercise is designed for ladies.” Well done, Trudy!

I’ve noticed the changes in my body over the time I’ve been coming.  I’ve felt so much fitter on recent holidays where a lot of waking was involved. This gym is friendly and welcoming with a lovely atmosphere and no intimidation at all.  And … It’s fun!”

1000 Club – Entrants and Movers!

Our lovely Sheren joins the 1000 club as she hits 1000 workouts and gets the free T-shirt!   Also, our lovely and enthusiastic Amanda! Of course, we have our members moving through the 1000 club … heading for 2000 club! Mel on 1100, Lydia on 1400, Jamuna on 1700, and Carol on 1900. Jamuna had lots of positive things to say about the benefits of working out at LFF. “I find regular workouts improve my brain health and my quality of sleep.  While I am doing my university course, I believe that these 30-min workouts improve my memory function. (It’s true, ladies, research has shown that exercise increases the volume of your hippocampus and makes you smarter!).  I am physically active and I feel positive.” When asked what she appreciated most about LFF, Jamuna said, “very friendly staff with very supportive manner, the extra aerobic 30 mins – very fun and active and collaborating with other members.  I like this celebration of every 100 workouts – it gives us a boost of energy. And the regular weight and measure review and the fun challenges promote health awareness and gives that positive feeling. I’m addicted to this place!!”
